The Roanoke River Greenway is now CLOSED under Wasena Bridge (effective April 29, 2024). Greenway users will notice the clearly marked detour running alongside the park and through Wasena Village. Both road marking and detour signs are in place to help users avoid the construction zone while the new bridge is being built. In total, this detour is just under 0.5 miles, following Winchester Avenue, "Little" Main Street, Winona Avenue and Wiley Drive.
