Now through September 10, the City of Roanoke is accepting participants in a free online course, Taking Your Organization to the Next Level. It's aimed at developing leaders, increasing group participation, future planning and grant opportunities. Facilitated by program consultant Steve Hixton, the program consists of 6 virtual classes held over three months on select Mondays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Neighborhood groups may register up to 3 representatives for this free training. Participants must take part in at least 5 of the 6 classes to complete the course and be eligible to apply for Neighborhood Development Grants for the 2022-2023 program year.
