The River House was built in 1925 as an ice house, but transformed in 2012 to a unique urban adventure hub with 128 apartments and 3 commercial spaces. It's one of many great businesses that remain open during the construction of a new Wasena Bridge, and the City of Roanoke Economic Development Department encourages patrons to shop local to show their support.
