We’re roaming Roanoke County with the Words on Wheels bookmobile! Em Poertner joins librarians Allyson Frick and Kelsey Frey as they pack up the van and set up at the Catawba Valley Farmers Market. The WoW! bookmobile launched in 2023 at Touch-A-Truck (this year’s event is August 10!) The van helps the Roanoke County Library deliver books to patrons who may not be close to a library building as well as promote events and resources.
